Police Investigate Truck Theft From Auto Dealership In Bucks County
DOYLESTOWN Twp., Pa. (CBS) – Police are investigating the theft of a truck from an auto dealership in Doylestown.
Authorities say the vehicle was taken from the lot of the Thompson Organization auto dealership.
Surveillance shows on May 30, a male entered the lot on a bicycle and allegedly stole the truck around 3:50 p.m. when the dealership was closed for Memorial Day.
Police say the stolen truck is a red 2003 Ford F250 regular cab pickup truck with a snow plow mount on the front.
It is likely bearing PA registration ZGF-9409 or ZGS-6002, police say.
Authorities describe the suspect as a white male who appears to be around 50 to 65 years old. He is about 5'10" to 6'2" tall with an average build, no facial hair and a cleft chin.
Officials say he was riding a Huffy mountain bicycle with duct tape on the handle bar grips.
