Police say on May 31, they responded to the 6300 block of Theodore Street and found a broken window and unlocked door.

Upon entering the property, they found the homeowner, Joseph Daly, 78, unresponsive on the living room floor with a pool of blood next to his head.

The victim's vehicle was also missing, but was recovered two days later at Griscom and Oxford Avenue.
