PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Police say an arrest has been made in connection with the murder of an elderly man in Southwest Philadelphia last week.
Eighteen-year-old Quintis Clark turned himself in at police headquarters late Monday.
Police say on May 31, they responded to the 6300 block of Theodore Street and found a broken window and unlocked door.
Upon entering the property, they found the homeowner, Joseph Daly, 78, unresponsive on the living room floor with a pool of blood next to his head.
The victim’s vehicle was also missing, but was recovered two days later at Griscom and Oxford Avenue.
Several days later, police obtained an arrest warrant for Quintis Clark.
Officials say Clark has been charged with murder, criminal conspiracy, robbery, burglary, theft and related offenses.
