Chip Kelly's Biggest Lesson Learned: Everybody Must Be On Same Page

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- At this point, it's obvious that Chip Kelly and the Philadelphia Eagles' management did not see eye-to-eye.

Speaking with Peter King on SI.com's Monday Morning Quarterback site, Kelly hinted at such.

Kelly was specifically asked what is his "biggest lesson learned in the NFL so far."

"Everybody has got to be on the same page," Kelly responded via MMQB.com.

Players, front office, owner?

"Everybody, really, but it's really important with the front office," he said.

When asked about his new team, the San Francisco 49ers, Kelly raved.

"I look at it that I landed in heaven and I am really excited to be in San Francisco," Kelly said. "The organization is first class and it is about excellence."

Kelly, despite a 26-21 record with the Eagles, was fired just one game prior to the end of his third NFL season. King asked him if he felt "battered?"

"No, not at all," Kelly said via MMQB.com. "I coach football in the NFL. I have one of the greatest jobs in the world. I don't think I would ever feel battered."

Sub-par play and injury problems at the quarterback position, in all three of his seasons in Philadelphia, hindered Kelly. Now, he's dealing with more QB problems as Colin Kaepernick reportedly wants out and is close to joining the Denver Broncos via trade.
