Man Charged After Dead Dog Found In Metal Crate In Montgomery County
UPPER DUBLIN, Pa. (CBS) – Authorities say a Lansdale man has been charged after a dog was found dead in a metal cage on the side of the road in Upper Dublin Township.
Police say Charles McCafferty IV, 22, has been charged with cruelty to animal and related charges.
The Staffordshire Terrier was found on March 9.
Police say McCafferty was the owner of the dog.
Authorities say it appears the dog had been dead for at least three days before she was found.
