PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — “Bautista is a f—ing disgrace to the game.”
That is what Hall Of Fame reliever Goose Gossage said of Toronto Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista via ESPN.com, going as far as to say the Domincan Republican outfielder is “embarrassing to all the Latin players.”
Bautista, 35, and the Blue Jays took on the Phillies in exhibition action on Saturday afternoon in Clearwater, Florida. And from the looks of it, the Phillie Phanatic does not agree with Gossage.
The Phillies ended up beating the Blue Jays 8-5. Bautista went 0-3.
