Person Accused Of Stealing Money From NE Philly School's Book Sale

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A person is accused of stealing money from a school's book sale in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police say they were called to St. Martha's on Academy Road for the report of a theft.

Upon arrival, police were met by a school employee who said an unknown person entered the church/school around 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2.

The person allegedly took money from the school's book sale and then fled the scene.

Surveillance video shows an unknown white female entering the building and police say she is wanted for questioning.

Authorities say the woman is around 25 to 30 years old, with long brown hair. She was wearing glasses, a blue coat, gray shirt, black pants and was carrying a dark-colored pocketbook.
