Police: Argument Over Cell Phone Leads To Double Shooting In Frankford

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a dispute over a cell phone led to a double shooting overnight in Northeast Philadelphia.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 5300 block of Charles Street in the city's Frankford neighborhood.

Police two 18-year-old men were on the front steps of a home where one of them lived when an argument over a cell phone escalated, turned physical and someone opened fire.

Authorities say one of the victims was shot in the head and the other was struck in the neck.

Both victims were taken to Temple Hospital in stable condition.

The gunman and two other suspects were found a few blocks away and taken into custody.
