PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Owls continue to soar.

Temple football is now ranked No. 21 in both the latest AP Poll as well as the Coaches Poll. Coming into this week, the Owls were ranked 23 in both polls and jumped up two spots after their 60-40 win over SMU on Friday night.

According to the University, this is the first time in the program’s history that it has been ranked for four consecutive weeks.

The first set of rankings for the College Football Playoff were released this past week and the Owls were ranked No. 22.
