Back To Business At CCP Following Tuesday's Lockdown

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Community College of Philadelphia reopened Wednesday morning after a lockdown sparked by reports of a man with a gun on campus Tuesday.
Students and staff were just trying to get back in to their normal routines after Tuesday's lockdown forced the college to close early while police conducted their investigation.
The whole situation was intense for students like Desmond, who says he usually feels pretty safe while on campus:
"Yeah, I generally do. I didn't think much of it before. It's just seeing it is a whole different thing."
A sentiment echoed by other students as well. Antonio was in class as things unfolded.
"I was just about to leave the classroom when a student got a text message that the school was under lockdown," he tells KYW Newsradio. "That there's a guy inside one of the buildings with a gun."
Antonio says he and the others students in class were scared as they waited for the all clear, which came around noon when police apprehended a 17-year old suspect hiding inside of a classroom.
Police have not charged that suspect, because they have yet to find a gun and the suspect denies ever having one.
The investigation is ongoing.
