Accused Kidnapper Pleads Guilty In Germantown Abduction Case
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Accused kidnapper Delvin Barnes changed his plea this morning.
Barnes had previously pleaded "not guilty" to charges he kidnapped a woman in Germantown last November. After pleading "not guilty," he was ordered held in prison to await trial.
On Thursday, Barnes pleaded guilty to kidnapping a 22-year-old woman.
The incident was caught on surveillance video. Prosecutors say Barnes bound and stuffed 22-year-old Carlesha Freeland-Gaither into his car trunk and drove to Maryland.

Police and the FBI tracked Barnes down after they released surveillance video of him allegedly using the victim's ATM card as well as video of the suspect inside an Acme on Roosevelt Boulevard.
She was later rescued in a parking lot in Jessup, Maryland.
Barnes told the judge the abduction started as a robbery, but he panicked. He allegedly said he was trying to see his daughter in Virginia before turning himself into authorities there.
An investigation also revealed he sexually exploited the 22-year-old girl.
Authorities say a hearing is scheduled for January 6, 2016. Barnes faces 35 years in prison.
