Police: Pregnant Woman, Man Shot In Frankford
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a pregnant woman and a man were shot in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood Thursday night.
This happened just after 10 p.m. at the woman's home on the 4100 block of Paul Street.
Witnesses tell police two men pulled up to the home in a white four door Cadillac, and at least one opened fire on the victims, who were sitting on the front steps of the home. At least eleven shots were fired, according to police, and both victims were able to run inside the home.
The 23-year-old woman -- who is eight months pregnant -- was shot in the thigh and is in stable condition, police say. The 21-year-old man was shot in the back. He is now listed in stable condition.
Police have no motive at this time, but believe the gunfire was meant for at least one of the victims. They say nearby surveillance video could help with their investigation.
