What is your educational background?

"I graduated with a B.B.A. in marketing from The Fox School of Business at Temple University. I earned an associate's degree in business management from Delaware County Community College. My future educational plans include working towards a Juris Doctor (J.D.)."

What is your background in management?

"For the past five years, I have been the director of administration of Griesing Law, LLC, a woman-owned and operated law firm for which I was a member of the founding team in January 2010. I am responsible for the firm's efficient and effective operation, ensuring delivery of exemplary client service, and developing strategic plans for future practice and operational needs. I also provide a critical leadership role in both office and firm matters and act as a responsible advocate for office concerns and needs."

How has your education fueled your management success?

"An education can be really helpful in providing the basic fundamentals that any business major needs entering the workforce. Couple that learning with on-the-job experience, and it made for smarter and more efficient results-oriented focus."

What advice would you give someone just starting out in your field?

"Be confident. A lot of what I have learned has been self-taught because when growing a small business, your environment is constantly changing and you always need to adapt to what comes up next. My success is attributed to the fact that I had to make sure the job got done regardless of whether I knew the 'right' way to make that happen. Being responsible for the well being of others or playing a decisive role in your company's future success can be challenging, especially when you are starting your first job fresh out of college with little to no experience. Having that confidence is the starting point for your growth and securing your position as a successful leader."
