Franklin Township, NJ (CBS) — Police say one person is dead and another injured in a fatal car accident in Gloucester county Sunday night.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Weymouth Road and South Blue Bell Road in Franklin Township.

Authorities say 27 year-old Britni Zarin of Pittsgrove, New Jersey was unconscious and entrapped in her overturned white Kia Forte. Zarin was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle was 36 year-old Christoph Delossanto from Vineland, New Jersey. Authorities say he was taken to Inspira Vineland Medical Center for neck and facial injuries.

The police investigating found that Zarin failed to stop at a stop sign when driving west on Weymouth Road and was struck by the Ford Explorer at the intersection.
