The two-week effort by a coalition of unions and community groups called the Alliance to Reclaim Our Schools urges legislators to support Governor Wolf’s education budget.

“We’re trying to target some of the Republicans who we think might be movable,” he tells KYW Newsradio.

“One doesn’t bring a bus to an elementary school dripping gasoline,” said Whitehorne with a smile. “That’s not the kind of bang we wanted to get the bus tour off to!”
