PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Rachel McCay, the assistant curator at Woodmere Art Museum, talked about what you’ll see at the museum’s current exhibit, “Keeping It Real,” on display through June 7th.

“[It’s] Work by a range of artists in Philadelphia that is mostly representational. So that was the thematic foundation for the exhibition, representational imagery, which is imagery that is not abstract, so you can identify elements of the painting,” McCay explained.

“The collection had grown in the direction of a realist tradition…so we wanted to highlight that and show off the generosity of the collectors and the interest of our collecting committee,” she added.
