“We just see one of our fans involved in that tragedy and I thought I’d come by to brighten up your day. Our condolences go to the families of all the victims, this is our neighborhood these are our people,” Todd said.

Lenny, who’s a huge flyers fan was wearing a flyers t- shirt when the train crashed.  There’s a photo of him trapped on the train, the Flyers logo is mostly covered by debris.  “Everyone was panicking, all you can hear is screaming, it was complete chaos, darkness. You don’t know what’s going on.. I can’t close my eyes without having flashbacks,” Lenny says.

It was Lenny’s first time on a train, heading to New York, for a meeting when it derailed. Lenny says, “You never expect to be in a catastrophe until you are and then it happens so quick I never thought it would happen to me or even close to home like this.”

Lenny and his wife Marissa are feeling lucky even though he  has four  broken ribs, bruised lungs, a fractured spine and a nasty leg injury.  He says he’s in extreme pain.

Dr. Brendan McCracken with Hahnemann University Hospital says, “Anytime somebody has more than 3 rib fractures that’s a significant injury.”

Fedoruk, who’s a Flyers Ambassador brought all kinds of flyers gear, including a favorite signed poster.

Lenny says, “This is awesome this is one of my favorite Flyers.”

Doctors say Lenny faces a long a difficult recovery,  but he should eventually recover completely and be able to enjoy all his new flyers stuff  he wants to wear his new jersey to someday celebrate a Stanly Cup back in Philly.
