D'Angelo Russell Already Has A Connection With Nerlens Noel

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- There is no secret that D'Angelo Russell is a NBA Draft prospect that it makes sense for the Sixers to keep their eyes on. Russell is seen as a consensus top-4 pick and may be the most ideal fit for the Sixers. In fact, it already looks like Russell is familiar with a key member of the Sixers.
On Monday, Russell posted a photo on his Instagram account standing next to Sixers big man Nerlens Noel.
Unlike college, Noel really has no need to recruit Russell to Philadelphia, but he might be talking up the situation.
Just picture a core of Russell, Noel, Joel Embiid and Dario Saric. That doesn't sound too shabby.
Russell did not give a whole lot of insight into his picture with Noel as he refrained from captioning it. However, Noel posted a picture on Sunday at the Clippers-Rockets game with boxe Floyd Mayweather.
Notice that Noel is wearing the same attire that he is in the picture with Russell.
There is anything to read into here other than that it appears Russell and Noel are cordial with each other. Some early chemistry could bode well for the two if they do wind up playing together in Philadelphia.
Never too early to develop a connection for a point guard and his big man.
