PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Two people were injured after a crash in West Philadelphia early Sunday morning.

It happened around 5 a.m. at the intersection of 52nd and Walnut Streets.

Police say two cars collided, knocking over a light pole. One of the vehicles slammed into a drug store on the corner. The other car came to a stop on the sidewalk down the street.

Two people were rushed to Presbyterian Hospital. There was no initial word on their conditions.
