2 Men Stabbed By Their Friend During Scuffle At North Philly Home

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Officials say two men were stabbed by one of their friends overnight inside a home in the Logan section of the city.

This happened around 1 a.m. at the home located on the 1300 block of West Ruscomb Street.

Officials say a 41-year old man was stabbed in his head with an unknown sharp object while trying to break up a fight between two of his other friends, both in their 50's.

The two friends then continued their scuffle, according to officials, and the same friend who stabbed the man in the head stabbed his other friend in the chest with a butcher knife.

The man who was stabbed in his chest was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The man who was stabbed in his head refused treatment.

The man who stabbed both his friends was taken into custody. Officials say both of the men in their 50's will be charged with Aggravated Assault and related charges.
