Mourners Gather To Remember Eagles Legend Chuck Bednarik

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Two public viewings were held in Bethlehem, Pa. on Thursday to remember the life of Eagles legend Chuck Bednarik. "Concrete Charlie," as he is known by fans passed away on Saturday at the age of 89.

The first viewing was held from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. and a second took place from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

According to the team, several past and present members of the Eagles organization attended the public viewings. Representatives of the team included Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie, Team President Don Smolenski, former coach Dick Vermeil, former player and coach Ed Khayat, former player Pete Retzlaff, former player Maxie Baughan, former team employees Leo Carlin and Jim Gallagher, and Eagles Hall of Fame receiver Tommy McDonald.

The Eagles also noted that current head coach Chip Kelly, and former head coach Andy Reid, were unable to attend, but spoke with the family upon hear about Bednarik's passing.
