PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Flyers defenseman Kimmo Timonen announced he will resume skating on Friday. The announcement came during the Flyers-Islanders game on Thursday night via Timonen’s Twitter handle.
Timonen has been dealing with life-threatening blood clots in his lungs and right-calf. “I kept that hope alive,” said Timonen during a press conference. “I worked out really hard and meeting all the doctors, with Hexy and the specialists.
