One Dead In Cheltenham Township Apartment Fire
CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- One person is dead after flames ripped through an apartment complex in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County.
The fire broke out shortly before 4:30 a.m. Monday at Lynnewood Gardens Apartments on North John Russell Circle in Elkins Park.
Officials say one person was killed in the fire that damaged two units.
No other information has been released about the victim. No other injuries were reported.
The blaze was placed under control in about an hour.
The cause of the fire was being investigated.
