PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — According to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, the Eagles plan to interview current Detroit Lions Vice President of Pro Personnel Sheldon White for their new general manager role.

The Eagles are looking to hire a new player personnel executive after announcing on Friday that former General Manager Howie Roseman will be elevated to Executive Vice President of Football Operations and head coach Chip Kelly will oversee the entire personnel department.

White, 49, has been with the Lions for 18 years and was promoted to VP of Pro Personnel in 2009.
