
HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (CBS) – Police in Hamilton Township, NJ say an officer responding to the scene of a crime was injured.
On Nov. 25th around 6:26 p.m., Officer Brian Miller responded to a shoplifting in progress at the Mays Landing Walmart.

That suspect fled from the officer and a foot chase that crossed over the Black Horse Pike and into the parking lot of the Hamilton Mall ensued.

The suspect was identified as 28-year-old Deanna Okojie, of Somerdale. She is being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $35,000 cash bail.
Officer Miller was transported to AtlantiCare for treatment.
