New Adidas App Allows Shoppers To Upload Their Photos Onto A Pair Of Sneakers

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Want to see your amazing marathon finish or even a photo of your dog every time you head out for a run?

Adidas has just released a new app that will allow you to customize your sneaks with one of your own photos.

According to the Adidas website, the app is called mi ZX FLUX, and it's available for iPhone and Android.

The company says shoppers download the app then enter stats like size and gender before taking or uploading the photo of their choice. After using the template to scale and place their image, users can then review their design in 3D and order it via the app.

While the app offers amateur sneaker designers creative freedom, there are a couple things to note.

Recommended images are large and high-resolution, but you can also create your own artwork. Copyrighted images, photos of celebrities and the like are not permitted.

Finally, the app will only allow shoppers to customize one Adidas style, the ZX FLUX.

Happy designing!
