Philadelphians Earn Not-so-hot Marks For Attractiveness
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Travel + Leisure readers have no love for the City of Brotherly Love when it comes to looks…again.
Philadelphia residents were ranked the fifth least attractive in the country. Back in 2012, Philly came in third to last in terms of attractiveness, and in 2011, we ranked 25th of 35 U.S. cities.
To add insult to injury, Philadelphians were ranked less attractive than people in our sister city, Pittsburgh.
Interestingly enough, T + L says "the list of the 10 least attractive cities has an eerie overlap with the survey's top 10 of enthusiastic sports fans." Philly ranked first on that 2011 roundup.
So, what cities supposedly have less attractive people than Philly? Baltimore ranked fourth, Oklahoma City and Memphis tied for second and Detroit was first.
