Child Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle In King Of Prussia

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. (CBS) – Police say a 10-year-old boy was struck by a car in King of Prussia early Tuesday afternoon.

The child was reportedly trying to cross the road on foot when he was hit around 12:14 p.m. at Route 202 and Saulin Boulevard in King of Prussia.

Police say the striking vehicle, a Honda Civic driven by a female from Harleysville, was traveling Route 202 southbound and had a green light.

The 10-year-old is said to have been in the company of about five other juveniles. The group had crossed the northbound lanes and was attempting to cross the south ones when the crash happened.

The boy was flown by Medi-vac to CHOP with serious injuries.

The other juveniles were not injured.

An investigation is underway.
