By Steve Beck

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) -- A 15-year-old female and a 14-year-old male assaulted a 56-year-old woman on a Delaware street before stealing her cell phone, police said.

The incident happened at about 7 p.m. on October 20th on S. Justison Street in Wilmington.

According to investigators, the 56-year-old female victim was walking along the street when she was asked what time it was from the suspects, who were following her.

As she attempted to tell them what time it was, investigators say the suspects pushed the victim to the ground before they stole her cell phone.

The suspects then ran from the area.

The victim called 911 and police eventually tracked down the suspects at 5th Avenue and Coleman Street.

Investigators say the 14-year-old male was found to be in possession of the victim's cell phone.

Both suspects, including the 15-year-old female, were taken into police custody.

They were both charged with Robbery, Conspiracy and Malicious Interference Emergency Communication.

Both suspects were taken to the New Castle County Detention Center in lieu of $11,500 secured bail.

The victim was treated for cuts to her elbow and knuckles.
