PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – On today’s APP-tastic and outta SITE – Star Walk 2.

The original Star Walk was one of the best astronomy apps to come around. Happily, Star Walk 2 only builds on that success.

Like the original, just point the app to the sky and you’ll get a real time view of what’s up there. It’s a cleaner experience this time though – using tools like augmented reality to project its view on top of what your camera sees.

You can even use a time machine feature to view skies of years past.
