UPPER CHICHESTER, Pa. (CBS) – A worker is dead after falling from a bucket truck Thursday morning in Upper Chichester, Delaware County.

The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on the unit block of Winding Way.

The employee, who worked for Lenni Electric, which provides maintenance to the Township’s street lights, reportedly fell about 50 feet from the truck while working on power lines and was pronounced dead on the scene.

The accident is being examined by the Upper Chichester Police Department and the investigation is ongoing.

No word on the victim’s identity at this time.
