Injuries Reported After School Bus-Minivan Crash In Southwest Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Four people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving a school bus in Philadelphia Wednesday morning.

The crash happened shortly after 7 a.m. near the intersection of Lindbergh Boulevard and Island Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia.

Chopper 3 HD was over the scene of the crash where it showed a school bus and a mini-van behind it with front-end damage.

One person was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in serious condition. Three others were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. One of those at HUP is listed in serious condition.

It was not immediately known how many of the injured were children.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
