PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Two Pennsylvania State Police troopers were injured when a driver suspected of DUI crashed into their patrol car.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday along the eastbound lanes of the Schuylkill Expressway near Montgomery Drive.

Police say the cruiser was stopped for an accident involving another vehicle when a vehicle slammed into it from behind.

The two officers and the driver of the striking vehicle were taken to the hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.

The driver of the striking vehicle is facing charges of driving under the influence.
