Police: Child Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle In Oxford Circle
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a 10-year-old child is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Philadelphia's Oxford Circle neighborhood.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Loretto and Longshore Avenues.
Investigators say the 10-year-old was riding a bike when he was struck by a vehicle.
The child was taken to the hospital in critical condition, and died from his injuries in the overnight hours.
The driver remained at the scene. An investigation is ongoing.
