2 Injured After Boat Strikes Mystery Object In Schuylkill River

WEST NORRITON, Pa. (CBS) – Two people were taken to the hospital after the boat they were operating struck something in the Schuylkill River on Sunday.

Officials say three passengers were aboard the boat when the vessel struck something and broke apart around 6:45 p.m. in West Norriton.

Other boaters on the river reportedly helped bring the three victims to the shore.

Two of those on the boat were transported to Paoli Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There's no word on what the boat hit.
