BRISTOL, Pa. (CBS) – Bristol Borough Police are investigating a hit-and-run involving a child that occurred Thursday morning.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. near Route 413 and Winder Drive in Bristol Township, Bucks County.

Police say initial reports indicate a driver struck a child then drove away without stopping.

There is no word yet on the condition of the victim, who was rushed to a nearby hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
