Krispy Kreme, 7-Eleven And Chick-fil-A All Offering Free Or Discounted Food On Friday
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Free or discounted food is always exciting, and on Friday, three major chains are offering deals.
First up, it's Chick-fil-A's 10th annual Cow Appreciation Day. Guests are urged to dress like a cow from "head to hoof" in order to earn a free combo meal. Those wearing some sort of cow costume will get a free entrée.
It's also the 77th birthday of Krispy Kreme and its Original Glazed donut on July 13th. To celebrate, the company is offering customers a dozen Original Glazed donuts for 77 cents with the purchase of a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts of any kind.
Finally, 7-Eleven is marking the date, 7/11, with Free Slurpee Day. Between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., shoppers can get a free small Slurpee at participating stores.
All three chains have numerous locations in Philadelphia.
