Sean Couturier Rehabbing From Successful Surgery

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)–Flyers forward Sean Couturier had successful surgery on Friday.

"Sean Couturier had successful abdominal surgery this past Friday," Flyers general manager Ron Hextall announced on Wednesday. "He has started rehab at our training facility and should be fully recovered in 5-6 weeks."

Couturier finished his third NHL season in 2014 with 39 points, 26 assists, and 13 goals, setting a new season career-high in points and assists, while matching his career-high in goals.
