Man Sought In Possible Child Luring Outside an Exton, Pa. Private School

By Brad Segall

EXTON, Pa. (CBS) -- Authorities in Chester County have released a sketch of a man they're looking for in connection with a possible child luring late last week outside a private school.

West Whiteland police say two 14-year-old boys told them they were approached by a man in a car outside the main building of the Church Farm School, in Exton, last Thursday night.

According to the boys, he asked them if they were waiting for the bus and, when they told him no, he asked if they wanted a ride, then tried to block their path when they wouldn't get in the car.

Detective Scott Pezick interviewed the boys and called their story "credible."

"Yeah, the boys were very scared," he tells KYW Newsradio.  "They didn't know what to make of the situation.  They clearly felt that this person was trying to get them into the vehicle, so they remembered it fairly well because of the fear level."

The driver is described as an Asian male in his 40s, with glasses, who spoke with an accent.  Police say he was driving a distinctive red sedan with black door handles and possibly a black stripe on the trunk or bumper.

He fled east on Lincoln Highway, toward Route 202.
