Philadelphia Soul Home Saturday, Host Struggling VooDoo

By Matt Leon

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Soul will look to get back on track on Saturday as they welcome the New Orleans VooDoo to town.

Philadelphia saw its three-game winning streak snapped last weekend with a 65-57 loss at Pittsburgh.

"We've just got to make plays when the opportunities are there, (for)some reason we're not," Soul head coach Clint Dolezel tells KYW Newsradio. "The ballgames we lose, we're just not making enough plays out there. The teams we're playing are good football teams too, so they get paid to make plays and they're making them on us right now. We've got to step it up on all levels."

New Orleans comes to town just 1-5 for the season and they are 0-3 on the road. They've really struggled on offense, scoring an Arena Football League-low 240 points.

"They've had quarterback issues, injuries here and there, protecting the quarterback," Dolezel says. "So they've had a bye week, they signed a few other players and I'm sure they'll come in playing a lot better than they have on film."

Philadelphia and New Orleans will get underway at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be televised by the CBS Sports Network .
