Couple Weds in NICU at St. Christopher's Hospital
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A very special wedding ceremony was held Thursday at Saint Christopher's Hospital for Children.
Joshua and Amber Fox tied the knot with their one-month-old son watching.
Lucas Fox is being treated at Saint Christopher's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit after abdominal surgery and then a problem with his lungs.
It was a traditional wedding ceremony, complete with a pastor and flowers.
The new couple says the ceremony couldn't have been more perfect.
"It was amazing. I was trying not to cry and then the minute I saw both of them together I just broke down in tears," Amber Fox said.
"He knew all the ladies were looking and talking about him and he pretended to be a little asleep with that little smirk going on. He knew," Joshua Fox said.
Lucas is doing great now, and Joshua and Amber say they can't wait to get him home.
