Curator Hyunsoo Woo says this exhibit is an unprecedented culture exchange.

"This will be sort of a once in a lifetime opportunity for anyone who lives in this area. We are going to show a handful of national treasures and many of the works -- they have never traveled outside of Korea," Woo explains.

Other highlights include paintings, ceramics, metal works, furnishings and costumes.

"This is a storytelling about the people who lived in Korea, [and the] Korean peninsula during this long time span," Woo adds.

The exhibit runs through May 26. For more information, visit: www.philamuseum.org.
