PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Schools are closed again in Philadelphia on Friday.

Both the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the School District of Philadelphia announced their schools would be closed due to the weather around 5 p.m. on Thursday.

“Fewer cars and people on the roads is better,” Mayor Nutter emphasized during a press conference, before urging those who do not need to go out to stay at home.

More snow is expected to target our region overnight, and another clipper is anticipated for Saturday.
