BEAR, Del. (CBS) – Police are investigating a strong armed robbery that occurred in a motel parking lot Sunday morning in Bear, Delaware.

The incident occurred around 9 a.m. at the Afton Motel on the 700 block of Pulaski Highway.

According to police, a 43-year-old motel employee was approached  in his car by two suspects who demanded money. The suspects reportedly pushed the victim then took a motel deposit bag from the car that contained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.

The victim was not injured.

The first suspect is described as black male, mid 30’s-40’s, 6’0 tall, thin build, last seen wearing dark jacket, dark wool hat, and blue pants. The other suspect is described as a white male, mid-late 30’s, short, thin build, last seen wearing a dark jacket and tan pants.
