1 Dead, 4 Injured In Separate Shootings In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - One person is dead, one person is in critical condition, and three others were hospitalized following four separate shootings in Philadelphia Saturday evening.

The first shooting occurred just after 6 p.m. on the 6000 block of North Front Street. Authorities say a 25-year-old man was shot once in the back and taken to Albert Einstein Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

An hour later, a 31-year-old man was shot once in the abdomen just after 7 p.m. on the 1500 block of North Gratz Street, according to authorities. He was taken to Hahnemann Hospital by police and is listed in critical condition.

Minutes later, authorities say a 15-year-old man was shot once in the buttocks on the 2800 block of West Dauphin Street. He was taken to Temple Hospital by police and placed in stable condition.

Then, just before 7:30 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot three times on the 1300 block of East Johnson Street. He was taken to Albert Einstein Hospital where he was pronounced dead. An 18-year-old female was also taken to Einstein after she was shot in the foot.

No arrests have been made in any of the shootings. They are all under investigation.
