PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – What better place to enjoy a holiday kiss than in Philadelphia’s Love Park?

This year, those heading to the city’s Christmas Village can not only pick up a bag of fresh mistletoe — they can also share a kiss underneath it.

Absolute Abstract, one of the Village vendors, will be offering fresh mistletoe for $5 per bag or $20 for five bags.

The plants are being flown in from the West Coast specifically for the holiday market, but they’ll also be available at Absolute Abstract’s Midtown Village store on 13th Street. The shop is apparently the only one in the city offering the fresh stuff.

“I’m from Arizona and in the Southwest mistletoe is such a big part of the holiday season,” Absolute Abstract co-owner James McManaman said in a release. “We wanted to bring that element of fun and freshness to Philadelphians by offering live mistletoe.”

Since Absolute Abstract is known for its decorative art, McManaman and his partner, David White, will also be constructing a mistletoe-covered “Kissing Wall” – a holiday spin on the traditional Love Park photo op in front of the iconic Robert Indiana Love sculpture.

And whether you pucker up with your significant other merely a new “friend,” a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the mistletoe will be donated to the National Kidney Foundation.
