PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Phillies have come to a contract agreement with catcher Carlos Ruiz, according to a report.

Various media reports indicate that Ruiz and the Phillies have agreement to terms of a contract.

Ruiz, 34 years old,  has spent all eight of his MLB seasons with the Phillies. Ruiz hit .268 with five home runs and 37 RBIs in 2013.

Matt Gelb of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the deal is worth $26 million over three years, with a club option for a fourth season.
