PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police are investigating a stabbing in Kensington that left one man dead.

Investigators tell Eyewitness News a 23-year-old man was stabbed in the face and neck with a machete around 1 p.m. Monday afternoon.

The incident happened on the street near SEPTA’s Somerset El station.

SEPTA Police rushed the man to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police tell Eyewitness News they are looking for three men in a gold car who fled the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
