Trial Of Daycare Worker For Alleged Assault Expected To Begin Monday
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The trial of a woman accused of assaulting two children at a daycare center is expected to get underway on Monday.
In September, 57-year-old Genel James allegedly pushed an 11-year-old girl, then hit her two-year-old brother and left them locked inside the Future People daycare in West Philadelphia.
The girl called police from a phone inside, and James was arrested. She is facing charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (EWOC) and Recklessly Endangering Another Person (REAP) for the incident.
