Gloucester City Junior-Senior High School Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat

GLOUCESTER CITY, N.J. (CBS)--According to Superintendent John Rafferty, a bomb threat was called in to Gloucester City Junior-Senior High School just before 1:00 p.m. Tuesday.

The school district called emergency management and evacuated the students to a nearby elementary school.

Bomb sniffing dogs searched and cleared the building around 2:40 p.m.

Students then returned to the high school and were allowed to get their things and go home.

The elementary school was also checked as a precaution.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
