DeSean Jackson: 'Revis Can't Run With Me'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – DeSean Jackson expects to be challenged by Bucs cornerback Darrelle Revis on Sunday. DeSean Jackson expects to get the best of that matchup.

"I'm definitely sure his coaches are confident in him, but I don't think he can run with me, I don't think he's as fast as me," Jackson said Tuesday.  "So it will be a challenge, man. He's a great player, nothing to take away from him. I'm just focused on what we have to do here, which is win a football game."

Jackson has had the best start of his career this season, with 28 catches for 525 yards and three touchdowns in five games. He appears to be at his best when he's fired up and talking, so perhaps this is a good sign.

He did make it clear what is most important.

"It's the Eagles versus Tampa Bay, and at the end of the game, as long as we're winning, that's all that matters to me," Jackson said. Adding that he doesn't want to turn this into a Jackson vs. Revis discussion.

The Bucs, with Revis, have one of the best defensive secondaries in the NFL. While the team is 0-4, the defense has performed admirably, and will be a test for Jackson, Nick Foles, and the rest of the Eagles offense.
